The BioTime Face clocking systems features easy to use software this makes getting up and running quick and easy. Once the software has been installed you can create your company and shift options and then start adding your employees.

To add an employee to the BioTime Face system, in the software you create a new employee record and fill in their details. You can then register the employee's face at the clocking terminal, this process involves the employee looking at the clocking terminal and turning their head so a three dimensional picture can be created which is then stored as a template. The employee simply looks at the facial recognition terminal each time they clock in and out.

Once your employees start clocking in and out, you can download the clocking data across your network or via WiFi or TCP / IP Network to the BioTime Face software. You can view an employees time-sheet containing clockings and hours, overtime, leave etc and amendments can be made. Reports can then be produced or the data exported to payroll.

Q. Does facial hair affect the system?
A. No, there is tolerance built in to the system that allows for changes in this area of the face.


Q. Will it differentiate between identical twins?
A. Yes, although they look the same to the human eye, “identical” twins do have small, but distinct differences between their facial features, making them distinguishable to the reader.


Q. Will holding up a picture of the person fool the system?
A. No, the system has an industry leading 3D dual sensor so it has to be a real person.

 

Q. Do different hair cuts affect the system?
A. Not at all, the system scans the face from the eyebrows downwards, so a persons differing hairstyles, fringes etc will be ignored.


Q. Do Glasses affect the system?
A. Most thin framed glasses will be ignored by the system, but thicker framed ones will affect the read time, or not read the person at all. We suggest that employees are enrolled onto the system without their glasses and clock in / out taking their glasses off.
